Testimony from HREW National Conference 2025

16th May 2025 – Conference Day One. Paul Manwaring spoke today about our encounters with God sometimes being ‘unexpected, uninvited and unwanted’. This is my testimony – like Saul’s – in that, one year ago on Tuesday 20th May. the Lord ‘knocked me off my horse’. That encounter reversed 22 years of being a prodigal. |it was wonderful to be reminded, almost a year to the day, of my ‘unexpected’ encounter with Jesus. Faithful, faithful God.

I came to Christ approximately 5 years ago. I was extremely shy and timid person. However, the love of Jesus opened my heart. I now lead our church services, preach sermons and head up youth leadership with my wife. God is good.
