The God Conundrum

David Harper is best known as an antiques TV presenter on the BBC.  Starting out as a non-Christian, in The God Conundrum he goes on an unexpected and sudden 11-month personal investigation into Christianity, true happiness and the elusive meaning and purpose of life.

The project began when he decided to research why someone he loved had been transformed so dramatically by becoming a born-again Christian.  This particular person was written off by doctors and therapists, but her life was transformed by finding Jesus.  The changes he witnessed in her seemed miraculous and so, what he thought might be an afternoon of internet searching into the effects Christianity has on a person turned into almost a year of full-time research and shocking personal experiences whilst disappearing down some very interesting and little known rabbit holes… At the end of it, he emerged a somewhat surprised and completely changed person!
